Shark Photographer of the Year: less than 2 Weeks to Go!
Underwater photographers have until 31st August to enter their best images of sharks and rays into the Shark Trust Shark Photographer of the year competition and be in with a chance of being crowned the Shark Photographer of the Year 2026.
You could win
A shark diving package to South Africa, courtesy of Diverse Travel and Agulhas House & Diving worth over £1600 (t&cs apply)
Additional prizes include: a Mares Sirius Computer; an Apeks reg set XTX 50 stage 3, a Marelux Apollo S Strobe & an Aqualung Explorer 120 Bag. Plus specially designed trophies for each of the category winners.
What you have to do:
Enter up to 3 of your best shark or ray images, from anywhere around the world. Before 31st August.
What comes next?
September will see the experienced judging panel, Charles Hood, Simon Rogerson & Nick Robertson-Brown, select their finalists and winners. Finalists will be emailed to request high resolution images to go through to a final round of judging.
The winners will be announced at the Shark Trust’s flagship event, For the Love of Sharks, on Friday 27th November at the Royal Geographical Society in London.
