Australia

The Commonwealth of Australia is the largest country in Oceania and comprises the Australian continent, Tasmania and numerous smaller islands. It is the oldest, flattest and driest inhabited continent and is surrounded by the Indian and Pacific oceans, leading to its name as the island continent. The climate varies from the vast hot desert west and interior to Mediterranean in the south-east, transitioning through sub tropical on the East coast to rainforest in the north-east. It is a highly developed country and most of the population lives on the East coast. 

When asked about Australia most people think of its sporting prowess, vast landscapes with charismatic wildlife or the sun, surf and beaches beside famous city sights. Australia has a huge amount to offer any traveller, with its sheer size and varied climate providing a huge range of activities and sights to enjoy. Whether you want outback adventure, city breaks, surf lessons followed by a cold beers and BBQ on the beach, extreme sports, seeing native wildlife like the koala and kangaroo, beach relaxation or great nightlife, Australia has it all. For divers the underwater world has it all too: no matter which coast you are on, there are some amazing dives to be had.

Fiji

Fiji is an archipelago of over 300 islands and 500 islets in the South Pacific ocean.  Of the islands around 110 are permanently inhabited, with the majority of the population living on the two main islands of Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.

Fiji has a vibrant culture, friendly locals and beautiful islands.  The tropical climate provides topside temperatures of 28-30°C and the balmy South Pacific waters range from 23-27°C.  From the rainforest to the palm tree dotted beaches, the sun soaked islands and lush green surroundings seem to bring smiles to everyone.  “Bula!” is the most common word you’ll hear in Fiji, literally wishing you life, it embodies the welcoming, fun people who inhabit this paradise.

French Polynesia

French Polynesia is an overseas collectivity of France.  French Polynesia has 121 islands and atolls, stretching across 1200 miles of the South Pacific Ocean.  The Islands are divided up into five groups, the Society Islands, the Tuamotu Archipelago, the Gambier Islands, the Marquesas Islands and the Austral Islands.  Tahiti, in the Society Islands, is the most populated and home to the capital Papeete.
