Help create a Guinness World Record with Ahmed Gabr and Oonasdivers

Ahmed Gabr

OONASDIVERSAhmed Gabr, holder of two Guinness World Records for the deepest ever dive has a goal to reinforce Egypt’s international recognition through maintaining environmental conservation and promoting the rich marine life in the Red Sea.

For decades the marine life of the Red Sea has brought happiness to scuba divers from all over the World. Ahmed thought it’s about time we showed some appreciation for our beautiful underwater world, so he is organising the biggest underwater clean-up after the application has been officially approved by Guinness World Records.

This record is for the greatest number of people participating in an underwater clean-up at events held within a 24-hour period at a single venue.

For the purposes of this record, an underwater clean-up is defined as a continuous operation in which divers wearing breathing apparatus search an underwater area for man-made waste products with the aim of removing them from the natural environment.

Ahmed would like to invite you to be one of 400 passionate divers that are needed to create this Guinness World Record.

The event will take part from 4-6 June 2015.

–          June 5   : The start of the dive at Hilton Plaza Marina – Hurghada
–          June 6   : After dive party at Hilton Plaza

The after dive party includes:

–          Dinner
–          Meet the official Guinness World Record adjudicator
