Women Divers Hall of Fame Announces 2026 Inductees
The Women Divers Hall of Fame (WDHOF) has announced the five women selected for its 2026 class of inductees.
The new members are:
- Liz Parkinson – Windsor, UK (currently Marina del Rey, California, USA) – Stunt performer, marine conservationist, scuba and freediving instructor
- Margery Spielman – Ventura, California, USA – Educator, conservationist and marine artist
- Ingrid N. Visser, Ph.D. – Tutukaka, New Zealand – Cetologist, marine conservationist and author
- Linden Wolbert – Topanga, California, USA – Edutainer, mermaid pioneer and inventor
- Marni Zabarsky – Conroe, Texas, USA – Pioneering saturation diver, HSEQ leader and industry mentor
The 2026 induction ceremony will take place during the NOGI Gala Awards Banquet, held in conjunction with the DEMA Show, on 4 November 2026 at the Marriott Hotel, 555 Canal Street, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dedicated to recognising and honouring the contributions of women divers, the Women Divers Hall of Fame (WDHOF) is an international non-profit professional honour society. Its members have made significant contributions across a wide range of fields, including the arts, science, medicine, sports, exploration, underwater archaeology, media, service, dive training and education, safety, business, the marine environment and conservation, freediving, commercial diving and military diving.
