Ignite are a relatively new player in the ever increasing action camera market. They have had their latest offering on the market for 12 months, and it looks like a great option for those that want something more cost effective than the latest GoPro. The Ignite camera comes in 5 colours: blue, pink, yellow, silver or black, so you can have some fun at matching your action camera with your diving gear!

They offer two different housings: a 30m option or a 60m option – which amazingly only costs around $20 more. Included in the $216 package is a backscreen, 16Gb card and a remote control. Ignite also have a good range of accessories. Two that caught our eye were a small action camera LED light that is depth rated to 30m and provides a 300 lumens. They also had a cool handle accessory that doubles as a tripod, with the grip handle splitting into the 3 legs so you could leave your GoPro steady on the sand for a while on the tripod and then pick it up and head off on your dive again.
The new Ignite 4K action camera really is packed with nice features, with battery life and wi-fi status on a screen at the front. It comes with a free app for your phone to make sharing your adventures on social media simple.
