The Great Scuba Drive: Rico and Sophie Embark on an Epic UK Diving Adventure
Colleagues and friends Rico Anselmi and Sophie Shields are setting off on an ambitious diving road trip this November, travelling from Porthkerris, Cornwall, all the way to Puffin Dive Centre in Oban, Scotland.
Dubbed The Great Scuba Drive, the month-long journey begins on 2nd November and will see the pair exploring dive sites across the length of the UK — from natural and manmade lakes to lochs and open water. Their carefully planned route includes a mix of long-time wish-list locations and highly recommended favourites from the diving community.
Rico and Sophie will be documenting their adventure through photography, blogs, and social media posts, sharing the magic and challenges of cold-water diving along the way. Their mission is to showcase the beauty and diversity of UK diving, connect with local dive centres and groups, and inspire more young people to take the plunge into the underwater world.
The journey will conclude at Puffin Dive Centre, where the duo will complete their HSE Scuba qualification — the perfect way to round off an unforgettable adventure.
