About Shaff

Shaff Naeem is a Maldivian ex-military clearance diver, technical diver and expedition diver known for pushing the limits of long-distance underwater endurance projects. With over two decades of experience, he has played a key role in advancing technical diving in the Maldives.

He holds the Asian record for the longest scuba dive and was recognised by Asian Diver Magazine as one of the “111 Most Influential Technical Divers in the World.”

In 2026, he completed the Across Maldives expedition, covering 335km underwater over 15 days and setting national and regional records. He has also contributed to drafting the Maldives’ upcoming technical diving regulations, helping shape the future of advanced diving in the country.
