Meet Tamara, Atmosphere Resorts & Spa’s New Marine Biologist
Atmosphere Resorts & Spa has announced the appointment of Tamara as its new Marine Biologist.
While she may be new to the official team, Tamara is already a familiar face at the resort, having joined the Institute for Marine Research (IMR) last year as a Research Assistant. Earlier this year, she also completed her PADI Instructor course at Atmosphere.

Originally from the Netherlands, Tamara brings a strong academic background in marine sciences and international experience to her role. Her journey in marine conservation has taken her from studying in Europe to interning at a reef conservation program in Thailand. She has also contributed to global ocean advocacy, organizing events at the prestigious United Nations Ocean Conference.
At Atmosphere, Tamara plays a dynamic role—teaching PADI dive courses, guiding guests on underwater adventures, delivering engaging marine biology presentations, and supporting the marketing team through blog writing and content creation.
