Join the Great British Beach Clean this September
The Great British Beach Clean is getting closer. Will you join in?
The Marine Conservation Society has joined forces with Waitrose to create the biggest beach and river clean event series ever. Over the weekend of the 15th-18th September, there will be numerous clean-up events held all over the UK. You can even organise your own!
And what’s more, for the first time, many of the plastics removed from events will be sorted and recycled, giving them a second life as new products. Rigid plastic and cigarette stubs collected on cleans will be turned into shampoo bottles and advertising boards with TerraCycle.
