Introducing Innovative New 3D Printed UWP Accessory Line ‘Missing Bits’ By Deepshots
Deepshots.co.uk, a website that offers underwater photographic equipment tests, news, useful hints and all kinds of UW photo/video related stories, has launched a unique new product line called ‘Missing Bits’. What’s so unique about the line? Well, Jussi, the man behind Deepshots, has invented and produced the new line of products at home… using a 3D printer.
“The latest revolution in manufacturing is upon us,” says Jussi on his website. “Manufacturing small household items will be more demographic in the future as many of us are able to print them at home. Yes…print. The current flood of affordable 3D printers mean that we can be less dependent on big manufacturers. This stands for underwater photography also.”
“That’s why Deepshots is introducing its first products, designed and manufactured by me.”
Here are the first three products from the new line:
Olympus 12-50 Gear intended to be used with Nauticam Housing and macro port 65. This gear allows you to use the 12-50 lens as a handy wet lens capable macro-semiwide combo:
Olympus 9-18 gear. Affordable version of the gear that works both with Nauticam and Olympus housings:
Loc-line GoPro mount. This adapter allows you to attach your GoPro camera on top of your housing that has an accessory shoe or on any 1/2 loc-line type arm. Now you don’t have to pay through your nose just to mount your gopro on top of your housing:
