Girls that Scuba turns 3 years old – and they’re celebrating all week!
Girls that Scuba – the world’s largest female dive community turns 3 years old this week and they will be celebrating all week with special offers and sharing photos and posts of their community diving all over the world.
Girls that Scuba was created just 3 years ago, by British diver Sarah Richard, when she saw a need for more female support and encouragement in a seemingly male-dominated industry. The start of the GTS journey was a simple creation of a closed female-only Facebook group to create a safe and exciting space for female scuba divers where women from all around the world could share stories, ask for advice and come together and celebrate diving achievements.
What started with just Sarah and a small number of women she’d met diving around the world has now developed into a group of 36,000 scuba ladies from every corner of the planet, and a network of almost 600,000 members and followers across all social media (Girls that Scuba, Girls that Freedive, Girls that Techdive).
This week they will celebrate community, diving and friendships across their social media platforms as well as a new offer everyday on Girls that Scuba merchandise.
Follow along with the celebrations and submit your GTS stories on instagram.com/girlsthatscuba and facebook.com/girlsthatscuba
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
