Former commercial diver launches DIVEOPS PRO, a digital logbook that works offshore with no signal
DIVEOPS PRO, a digital logbook and records platform for working divers, is now live at diveopspro.com. It was built by Captain Alaattin Tuncer, a former commercial diver and diving contractor and author of The Diving Contractor series. Divers log every dive on the boat, barge or rig, even with no signal, and their supervisor signs it on deck, online or by QR code.
Finalized dives are locked into a tamper-evident history that stays with the diver from one contractor to the next. Corrections go through support, so nothing is quietly overwritten. Dive, saturation and chamber exposures sit in one history, and companies can document chamber sessions with the pressures, times and occupants they enter.
“I spent years writing my dives into paper logbooks: wet pages, lost books, and signatures chased at the end of a long shift,” said Tuncer. “DIVEOPS PRO is the logbook I always wanted. It works where divers actually work, and it gives you a record you can show the next contractor.
What divers get
- Offline first. “Prepare for Offshore” saves the app on the phone before a trip, and everything syncs when the diver is back in range.
- Sign-off on deck. The diver shows a QR code and the supervisor signs, with no signal needed. The diver approves every entry a supervisor makes for them.
- Bring old logs across. Import UDDF, CSV and Subsurface files, with duplicate detection (DiveLog Plus).
- Your data stays yours. UDDF export and a full JSON backup on every plan, including the free one.
- A report for each dive. A depth chart and a PDF report.
Personal logging is free. Paid plans add technical, commercial and company tools. DiveLog Plus is US$69.99 a year, Technical Pro US$149.99, Commercial Pro US$299.99 and Company Fleet US$1,490, before tax. Enterprise terms are available for larger fleets. As a founding offer, the first 50 divers who verify their email get every feature free for three months from sign-up. After that, new divers start with a 30-day free trial.
DIVEOPS PRO is a record-keeping tool, not a dive computer. It does not measure depth or time underwater, plan decompression or prescribe chamber treatments. Divers should keep the logbook their certification scheme requires; DIVEOPS PRO keeps their record safe alongside it.
