As Director of Scuba Travel, I’ve been fortunate to explore many of the world’s finest liveaboards, and I can honestly say that Ghazala Adventure has become my personal favourite. I recently sailed with my 12yr old son, and it was easily one of the best weeks of diving and relaxation I’ve ever enjoyed.

As someone who doesn’t particularly enjoy clambering back into small RIBs, the large zodiacs with easy-access ladders and a dedicated tank stand were a real revelation for me. Your kit won’t be piled on top of everyone else’s, and reboarding after a dive is refreshingly simple and safe.
The dive deck is a true standout: generous in size, thoughtfully organised, and equipped with charging stations, camera room, and rinse tanks. With three professional dive guides and a maximum ratio of 1:8 divers per group, you can relax knowing you’re in safe, expert hands. Free nitrox and air are available, and any special tanks, gas fills, or SSI/PADI courses can be booked ahead of your trip.
Culinary Delights and Relaxation
Food aboard the Ghazala Adventure is a real highlight. Our chefs serve up three delicious buffet-style meals each day, with fresh smoothies and snacks after every dive. We’re happy to cater for most dietary requirements—just let us know in advance. Whether you’re sipping coffee in the sun, enjoying sunset drinks at the upper deck bar, or lounging with a good book on the fly deck, you’ll find plenty of inviting spaces to relax and socialise.

World-Class Safety and Maintenance
Your safety is our top priority. Ghazala Adventure boasts state-of-the-art safety systems, including CCTV, advanced fire detection and suppression (with Elide fire balls, fire extinguishers and fire blankets throughout), centralised alarm monitoring, watertight bulkheads, and easy full size emergency exit. Lifejackets and lifeboats are maintained to the highest standards, and the crew receives regular safety training and drills.
In fact, while most steel-hulled vessels aren’t required to dry-dock in their first three years, we insist on annual inspections to guarantee everything is shipshape. Once on board, you’ll receive a comprehensive safety briefing and participate in muster drills, so everyone is prepared for the unlikely event of an emergency.

Many of our crew have served with distinction on Ghazala Explorer and have brought their expertise and dedication to her new sister ship. The captain is highly respected, with over 15 years’ experience navigating the Red Sea. Dive guides hold top certifications (PADI and SSI Instructor) and are skilled in both safety and customer service, ensuring your journey is not just safe, but also friendly and memorable.

Red Sea summers are warm and sunny, so don’t forget hats, sunglasses, and reef-safe sunscreen. Winter nights can get chilly, so beanies and a cosy fleece are handy for those starlit evenings on deck.
