Here’s Hollywood’s latest attempt to demonise sharks, ‘Cage Dive’ (watch trailer)
They aren’t going to need a bigger boat… just a new one.
Hot on the heels of ‘The Shallows’ comes ‘Cage Dive’, another chance for people who don’t know better to be terrified of ‘ol sharky.
The premise of the movie, which is another one of those found footage efforts, is this: Good looking young Americans fly to Australia to go cage diving with great white sharks (someone probably should have told them they could’ve done the same thing in Mexico, but hey ho). They get on a boat, go out to sea, start cage diving… when a freak wave hits the boat and takes it down. They then have to survive being eaten by the bloodthirsty group of killer great white sharks (groan) who were circling their boat that they are now in the water with.
