“Underwater Stories from the Red Sea” — Camel Dive Launches a Creative Contest for Divers and Ocean Storytellers
Camel Dive Club, one of the Red Sea’s most iconic boutique dive centres, announces the launch of Underwater Stories from the Red Sea, a creative contest dedicated to capturing the authentic character, atmosphere, and emotion of the Red Sea through photography and video.
Open to divers, photographers, and ocean lovers of all levels, the contest seeks true underwater stories — not random content, but meaningful moments that reveal connection, curiosity, and the life hidden beneath the surface. Entries may be filmed or photographed anywhere in the Red Sea, not only in Sharm, as long as they express a sense of place and narrative.
Categories
Two categories are open for entries. Participants may enter:
- Photography: up to three underwater photos taken in the Red Sea
- Video: one underwater video (max 90 seconds, portrait or landscape)
Entries will be judged on storytelling, originality, and how well they convey the unique spirit of the Red Sea.
Prizes & Celebration
Two winners will be selected — one per category:
- Best Photo Story
- Best Video Story
Each winner will receive:
- A diving holiday for two at Camel Dive Club in early December 2026
- One week’s accommodation at Camel Dive’s boutique hotel in Sharm El Sheikh
- Five days of diving on a private boat, shared with members of the contest jury and their partners
The winners will be celebrated during the Camel Dive 40th Anniversary Week, which will take place from 5–12 December 2026 — a special gathering that brings together divers, creators, and long-time friends of Camel for a week of community, storytelling, and underwater exploration.
Flights are not included.

About Camel Dive Club
Founded in 1986, Camel Dive Club is a boutique dive center and hotel in Sharm El Sheikh. For nearly four decades, it has been a community hub for divers who value quality, authenticity, and a laid-back atmosphere — far from the mass-resort experience.
Alongside the dive center, Camel Rooftop offers one of Naama Bay’s most iconic sunset views, and Pomodoro Restaurant serves handmade Italian cuisine crafted with top-quality ingredients imported directly from Italy.
Camel Dive is more than a dive center — it’s a place where stories begin underwater and continue on land.
