The Ups and Downs of Underwater Photography on Malta with Pete Bullen – August NUPG Meeting (Watch Video)

The August 2021 NUPG meeting saw Pete Bullen take to the virtual stage. Pete has lived in Gozo, Malta for 10 years. He spends his time helping people get the best from their cameras by providing photography coaching and guiding to visitors to the islands.

Pete talked us through the diving available in Gozo and showed off his stunning underwater photography to illustrate his favourite dives.

Instead of their usual monthly underwater photography themed competition, this month the group reviewed images taken at a fun NUPG get-together at Trefor in North Wales. Members gathered for an informal splash-in competition. Alas the conditions were against them, with very poor visibility, so only a handful of images were sent in from the day! Crabs seemed the best subjects!

The next NUPG meeting will see Mark Kirkland talk to us about his images from Scotland.
