Atmosphere Resort & Spa is a modern beachfront property built amongst an old coconut plantation, close to some of the best macro dive sites in the region. Accommodating up to 100 guests, the Resort features 30 suites, family rooms, apartments and penthouses. The spacious rooms all feature air-conditioning, cable TV, a minibar and coffee/tea making facilities. The suites feature outdoor tropical bathrooms with a shower.
Renowned as much for its gastronomy as well as its diving opportunities, the Resort offers a fine selection of dining options whether it’s a barbeque on the beach or fine dining with wines chosen from its carefully selected cellar. Other facilities include a spa, yoga classes, kids’ play centre, tour desk (hiking, whale and dolphin watching, zip-lining, village tours etc) and a dive centre.
Divers and snorkellers can enjoy a multitude of sites ranging from gentle sloping reefs, to artificial wrecks, deep walls and fast drift dives. The on-site PADI 5* Instructor Development Centre offers a full programme of training courses run by multilingual instructors. Daily boat dives visit the local sites famous for their array of rare critters as well as Apo Island known for its large corals, turtles and pelagic species.
Shore diving on the house reef is popular for both divers and snorkellers as are dusk dives to see the mandarin fish and fluoro diving. The majority of dive sites are located in the protected marine sanctuaries. Diving with Atmosphere is in small groups, with a maximum of four divers per guide. Expect to see frogfish, flounder, nudibranch, octopus, gobies, ghost pipefish, cuttlefish and mantis shrimp.
The water temperature is 26-30C year round and dive sites are a maximum depth of 30m. Nitrox is complimentary for qualified divers.
