Scuba Tours Worldwide celebrate 25 years of liveaboard diving by launching new boat

This year is Scuba Tours Worldwide’s 25th year operating liveaboards in the Maldives – and to celebrate, the UK based tour operator is launching a new liveaboard.
Founder of Scuba Tours Worldwide Rob Bryning says “The MV Sunset Queen replaces the MV Sea Queen that has been a good boat for us for the last 18 years, but we have had an opportunity to sell her and upgrade to a much better, much bigger and much more comfortable liveaboard.”
Sunset Queen is 30m long and is a substantial vessel with twin engines. She has accommodation for 18 but in line with Scuba Tours Worldwide’s philosophy that a smaller group enables them to offer better diving, the company has decided to keep guest numbers to 14. Accommodation is in six twin/double cabins and two singles. Of course, all the cabins are en-suite and air conditioned as you would expect. The boat has two saloons; a main deck with saloon and dining room and an upper deck with bridge, saloon and ample outdoor seating area and bar. She also has a third deck which is the sky deck – great for sunbathing and whaleshark watching.
The very experienced Sea Queen crew will be running the vessel, and Scuba Tours Worldwide have also announced that Dave and Lisa have returned as Cruise Directors to manage the boat. They have worked in the Maldives for more than eight years and have exceptional knowledge as Dive Guides, so guests will be in great hands.
