Online voting for BSAC Election 2014 now live

BSAC members will be able to vote with ease in this year’s Council elections, which will see a new BSAC Chairman plus two Council positions up for election.

Starting this week, BSAC members with a valid email will be sent full details on how to vote online. Where BSAC does not have up-to-date email addresses for members, a hard copy of the voting papers will be sent.

Members will also be able to vote on a resolution that has been submitted and will be proposed at the BSAC AGM 2014, namely: Current BSAC articles 76 and 77 and 78 are to be removed and subsequent articles to be renumbered accordingly. Read the resolution, the candidates’ CV’s  and the details of the AGM in the notice of meeting.

As in past years, the whole BSAC Election process will be managed by Electoral Reform Services (ERS).

Standing for a BSAC Council Officer position this year:

  • Chairman: Mark Allen, Eugene Farrell
  • Vice-Chairman: Alexander Warzynski (unopposed)
  • Council: Trevor Brown, Wendy Cooke, Edward Haynes, Geoff Hide, Ben Panter, Rachel Sharp, Janos Suto

Closing date for votes is 3pm 6th May 2014.
