Nominations closing date announced for 2016 BSAC elections

Could you be a BSAC election candidate? BSAC is still accepting candidate nominations for the Council positions that are becoming available in May 2016, with the closing date of 31 January 2016 for nominations to be submitted.

It’s an important election for BSAC this year, as it will see a new Chairman take up the helm, alongside a new Treasurer and three new council officers.

Any BSAC member wishing to stand should complete and submit the online nomination form by 31 January 2016.

Any motions to be raised at BSAC’s AGM 2016 must also be submitted by 31 January 2016. Motions to be raised at the AGM submitted by a branch committee must be accompanied by the relevant extract from the minutes of the branch meeting. Motions submitted by a voting member must be seconded by at least four other voting members.

All such motions must be sent to the club’s honorary secretary c/o BSAC HQ for the attention of Mary Tetley.
