New National Diving Officer to be elected in BSAC’s 2015 elections

BSAC members can now vote with ease in this year’s Council elections, which will see the BSAC National Diving Officer plus four Council positions up for election.

BSAC members will be sent full details on how to vote online by the end of this week. Members can also vote on resolutions which have been submitted and will be proposed at the BSAC AGM 2015.

Closing date for voting is 3pm on 11 May.

As in past years, the whole BSAC Election process is being managed by Electoral Reform Services (ERS).

Standing for a BSAC Council Officer position this year are:

  • National Diving Officer: Peter Bicheno, Sophie Heptonstall
  • Honorary Secretary: Edward Haynes (unopposed)
  • Council (four positions): Brett Parker, Dave Lock, David Brander, Ian Furness, Janos Suto, Mark Allen, Rob Higgie, Trevor Brown

Closing date for votes is 3pm on Monday, 11 May (closing date for Proxy votes is 9.30am on Thursday, 14 May).

BSAC’s 61st Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday, 16th May 2015 at 9.30am at The National Waterways Museum, South Pier Road, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire CH65 4FW.
