New members urged to join Doncaster Sub Aqua Club

The Doncaster Sub Aqua Club (DSAC) is appealing for new members to join after a string of long-established members retired from the group.

Chairman Linda Lawcock said: “We are down to about 29 members as about 15 of our group decided to hang up their fins in the last 18 months or so.

“We want to boost membership and it would be great to get some younger people or those who have never tried it before to come along and join in the fun.”
The group was established more than 50 years ago and meets at The Clubhouse in Greyfriars Road just outside Doncaster town centre.

They meet for pool training at Hall Cross School on Wednesdays at 7.30pm. The club also has its own boat and is licenced to train divers at Lakeside.

To get in touch with the Doncaster Sub Aqua Club, email or call Ian Baker, Training Officer on 07775 626916 or call the clubhouse on 01302 364345 on Wednesdays between 8:00pm and 11:00pm.
