New for 2022 at Duttons Divers

It has been a busy and exciting year for the Duttons Divers team. Adding Hafan Marina Dive Centre this year had even more divers coming to learn and dive with them this summer. With the announcement of their very own Vivian Quarry being listed as a world heritage UNESCO site, and the now world-famous Scuba Escape making Vivian its home…. It’s been a crazy year!

Whilst all of this has been going on, the team has been even more excited to be working with the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and the Water Skills Academy (WSA) to train as Powerboat and Stand Up Paddle board (SUP) instructors, and open up further recruitment opportunities.

What does this all mean? Well, you will now not only be able to dive at a UNESCO site, but will also be able to enjoy the tranquil setting as a Paddle boarder, but also book SUP lessons too! Not only that, but Powerboat courses will also be on offer. These courses can be booked standalone, but will also be incorporated into the professional level courses, such as Divemaster and Open Water Scuba Instructor, to offer you even more on your CV upon completion of the course.

PADI Course Director Clare Dutton says: “It has been a hugely successful year at the dive centre, coming out of Covid, the centre has gone from strength to strength, and now by being able to offer these additional activities, it really makes the most of the facilities that we operate. The addition of powerboat to the professional level courses is a great aspect as we can offer commercial packages… meaning that divers will be able to use their certification for work. I wish I had been able to do that with mine!”

Both activities will be open from January 2022. The Duttons Divers Team is however currently taking booking and offering promotional Christmas vouchers.
