JDScuba travel to Bali during the rise of the Covid-19 Pandemic: Part One (Watch Video)

We’re excited to introduce our new contributors Jake and Giovana aka JDScuba! Here is the first of a two part vlog about their recent trip to Indonesia – Bali, the Gilis and Nusa Penida – just before COVID-19 was announced…

From London to Bali. The trip started with a couple of days exploring Bali itself from heading up into the mountains to staying within a treehouse hidden in the forest. Then heading down to the coast to join Geko Divers in the Padang Bai to dive the ‘Blue Lagoon’. Ending on Gili Meno where the trip continues. Check back for Part Two tomorrow!

Jake grew up on Pen Llŷn, North Wales and from a young age, the underwater world and marine life have played a major role in his life. He's a marine biologist and an underwater videographer who aims to share the range of marine life and habitats found beneath the waves. Giovana trained as a professional dancer/actress/singer in London. She is also a personal trainer, scuba diver and L1 skydiver. Currently training to become a Stunt / SPACT performer within the film industry.
