Island Tour of the Philippines Features the Regions Finest Dive Sites

Dive travel specialists Dive Safari Asia have created an island tour of the Philippines which features a collection of the region’s finest marine environments. Intended to highlight the scope of the Philippines’ rich and diverse marine life, the tour offers the chance to dive over pristine coral reefs, enjoy encounters with elusive thresher sharks, discover black sand ‘muck dives’ and night dive with abundant critters.

En route tour members will dive 7 different islands spread throughout different regions of the country, including Apo Island’s colourful coral gardens, Malapascua and Gato Island for thresher and white tips sharks, and dive the shores around southern Negros, which are home to a rich abundance of invertebrates and critters rarely seen outside the Indo Pacific region.

Tour leaders Ben Stokes and Sarah Kemsley carefully selected a number of specific dive sites to feature in the expedition following over 10 years and thousands of dives throughout the region.

Dive Safari Asia is a UK based company founded in 2008 by Ben Stokes and Sarah Kemsley. The couple spent 8 years working in various locations around the world as instructors and dive guides before returning to the UK to create their own brand of dive holidays which includes a number of exclusive tours through remote areas of Asia.

The Philippines Island Safari takes place between the 22nd February – 7th March 2014 and includes 12 nights full board accommodation, 27 dives, all internal transfers and connections and is fully escorted by an experienced trip leader. Price is £1775.00 per person based on a twin/double share. Atol protected international flights can be arranged by the company from £550.00 per person.
