Get Ready For Scubafest Anglesey 2014
Divers are invited to make the most of the great diving on offer at this year’s ScubaFest Anglesey over the weekend of the 16th & 17th August 2014.
Organised by the Scuba Industry Trade Association (SITA), ScubaFest will be based at Anglesey Outdoors Centre so that divers can make the most of the fantastic north Wales coastline.
Divers can explore the many wreck and dive sites around the island then join in the ScubaFest après-dive socialising at the Anglesey Outdoors centre. There will be shore diving on offer plus spaces on RIB charters and BSAC clubs are more than welcome to bring their own boats.
Amongst the other activities on offer there will be the annual Splash In photo competition, the chance to test out the latest kit from a range of suppliers, including Apeks Aqua Lung, Hollis, Mares and Oceanic. There will be try dives as well as the chance to try out sidemount diving and BSAC will also be there, with free BSAC Beachcomber sessions plus Bite-Back’s Hacked Off! campaign in the BSAC information tent down on Porth Dafarch beach over the weekend.
There will also be a curry night on the Friday as well as the return of the hogroast on Saturday night, with live bands to round off each day.
