Divers aboard the Tiburon Explorer have been checking off serious bucket-list sightings in the Galápagos Islands this fall! One group of guests on a recent Explorer Ventures Fleet trip reported 11 Mola mola (sunfish) on a single dive at Isabela Island – an awe-inspiring encounter even by Galápagos standards.
The magic kept coming – some lucky guests shared their safety stop with a massive whale shark, while another group enjoyed an incredible encounter with a small pod of curious orcas that stayed long enough to say hello.
