Freediving Competition To Be Held In Manchester At The End Of May
There will be a Pool Freediving competition held by ApneistsUK (www.freedivers.co.uk) on May 31st 2014 in Manchester. There will be both complete beginners and current record holders attending, and anyone is free to join in whatever their level. If you don’t feel like competing, come and watch for the experience.
There will be no large prizes as the competition will be small, relaxed and informal, but will hold AIDA ranking status. It will be held in Manchester at Wright Robinson College. It will take the form of a single event (with the possibility of two if you are only having a short rest time). You can choose any discipline between STA / DYN / DNF and the cost are £25 for one event or £40 for two events (as the time in between will be very short it wouldn’t be a good idea to push if you are doing two events).
The Competition will have one DYN/DNF lane running and an STA lane.
The pool has been booked from 2.00pm – 5.00pm. Registration will be from 1.00pm.
