Four Foreign Divers Found Safe After Failing to Surface in Thailand
Four foreign divers have been found safe after failing to return to the surface from a dive off Samae San in Sattahip, Chon Buri, Thailand.
The divers were reported missing on Friday after they failed to surface as expected, prompting a search operation involving rescue teams, soldiers and local authorities.
The four were eventually located at Nam Sai Beach in Samae San at around 8.30pm by a water rescue team from the Sawang Rojana Foundation. All four were able to walk ashore and were reported to be unhurt.
According to reports, the divers are all certified and have extensive diving experience, with some working as diving instructors. They had travelled to the area to develop their technical diving skills.
Samae San is a popular destination for experienced divers, with a number of sites in the area attracting technical divers.
