Florida Diver’s Close Encounter With Great White Shark – Video

A diver from Florida got more than he bargained for whilst out spearfishing earlier this month when he came face to face with a Great White Shark.

“In the video it did look like it was kind of far away,” Jimmy Roseman told local news outlet Fox 35. “But the whole time it was about 6 to 7 foot away from me.”

In the video Roseman took with his GoPro, you see the great white swim by again and again in the murky waters off the Atlantic Coast near Vero Beach.  At one point, the shark’s fin smacks into his air tank.  A few minutes later, the shark came a little too close. Roseman used his harpoon gun to stab at the shark and scare it off.

“I had to poke it really hard that last time,” said Roseman.
