Finding Fluorescence by James Lynott – June NUPG Meeting (Watch Video)
The June 2022 NUPG meeting saw James Lynott present to the new hybrid NUPG meeting format. This new format allows for people to select whether to come to the meeting in person, and join the group for a meal beforehand, or to dial in remotely. It also means speakers can present live from Manchester, or as in this case, speak remotely too.
James gave a wonderful talk on his incredible techinques in photographing underwater marine life flourescing under blue light. He gave the group an insight into the equipment he uses, the species he has found to show this stunning behaviour and, of course, showed off his stunning images. The video is well worth a watch!
You can see more of James’ work on his website, Instagram & Youtube.
The monthly NUPG competition theme in June was “Red” and the winner was John Spencer.
Both runner-up spots were taken by Nick Robertson-Brown
