DEMA Board of Directors Scheduled to Convene Today
The Diving Equipment & Marketing Association (DEMA) Board of Directors will hold a virtual meeting today to review key initiatives, programs, and priorities aimed at supporting the global diving industry and DEMA Members throughout 2026.
The meeting will open with a vote on the consent agenda, a standard Robert’s Rules of Order procedure designed to expedite approval of routine items. Board Members receive all relevant reports and documents ahead of the meeting, allowing them to review details in advance so that meeting time can focus on strategic discussions, policy considerations, and forward-looking initiatives.

Following the consent agenda, the Board will review Anti-Trust Guidelines presented by Amanda Washton, DEMA General Counsel, receive updates on the DEMA President & CEO search process, and discuss results from 2025 Board self-evaluations.
Legislative and advocacy efforts remain a priority. The Board will be briefed on the DIVE BOAT Act and other public policy initiatives affecting the dive industry.
