BSAC’s UK Diving Video Competition winners announced
James Clark, Diving Officer of Bushy and Borehamwood Sub-Aqua Club, has won BSAC’s UK Diving Video Competition with an impressive 370 votes. The stunning footage shows the highlights of a diving expedition to the Shetland Isles which three BSAC Branches took part in. It features footage from some of the best dive sites in the area and shows the wildlife and wrecks that can be explored.
Mick Barraclough, Diving Officer and Chair of Bradford Sub Aqua Club came a very close second with 352 votes. Mick’s video shows a magical seal encounter while diving with fellow club members at the Farne Islands.
Katherine Sanders came third with her beautiful video of snorkelling with a dense shoal of thousands of sand eels, close to Filey Brigg in North Yorkshire.
“Huge thanks to everyone who made the effort to enter. There were some wonderfully creative and really stunning videos. The entries highlight how amazing British scuba diving and snorkelling can be”, said BSAC.
