BSAC

The Suunto Branch Volunteer initiative 2014 is now live, with BSAC on the search for its six top volunteers of the year.Volunteer of the Year 2014

Over the next six months, BSAC is inviting members to nominate the branch member they feel have gone that extra mile in the running of their club.

There are six categories, and each of the final Branch Volunteer of the Year winners will receive a Suunto DX computer worth £995. Closing date for nominations is 30th September and the winners will be presented at this year’s BSAC Diving Conference in October.

The six categories for 2014 are:

Young Volunteer of the Year (under the age of 21)

New Branch Volunteer of the Year (joined within the last 24 months)

Branch Event Organiser of the Year

Long-serving Branch Volunteer of the Year

Branch Instructor of the Year

Branch Volunteer of the Year (general)

From the six finalists – who will each receive a Suunto DX computer – the judges will then select the overall Volunteer of the Year for 2014, who will receive the Jonathan Crusher Award.

Any branch member can nominate another branch member and there is no limit to the number of nominations they can submit.
