Atmosphere Resorts win best Asia dive resort in the World Travel Awards

Each year, the World Travel Awards will acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry.

During this year’s nomination and voting period, the Philippines won the World Travel Award for “Asia’s Leading Dive Destination”, which was rightly celebrated in media all over the Philippines.

Atmosphere Resorts & Spa won “Asia’s Leading Dive Resort 2023” in tough competition with some amazing dive resort operators in Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia.

In other news from Atmosphere, the resort have revealed that they hosted a team of underwater film-makers from the BBC in 2022, to film a sequence of the episode ‘Ocean’ in the broadcaster’s hit show Planet Earth 3. The sequence features a yellow frogfish on Atmosphere’s house reef, and his ability to lure prey.
