Atmosphere Resorts Highlights Family Programmes, Halloween Weekend and 2026 PADI IDC Dates

Atmosphere Resorts in Dauin, Philippines, has announced a range of activities and events taking place during the remainder of 2026, including family-friendly marine education programmes, Halloween celebrations, upcoming PADI Instructor Development Courses and community initiatives. The resort is also encouraging solo travellers to visit, offering a 10% single occupancy discount across all room categories.

One of the year’s highlights will be the resort’s annual Halloween celebrations, taking place from 30 October to 1 November. The weekend will feature activities for children, guest costume competitions, staff performances, a themed Halloween buffet and a beach party.

Families visiting the resort can also take advantage of the Ocean Rangers programme, a two-day marine biology and ocean literacy experience for children aged between five and 12. The programme combines reef ecology, snorkelling, conservation activities and creative projects, giving young participants the opportunity to learn about marine life while exploring the resort’s house reef. Activities include guided snorkelling, simple water quality testing, beach clean-ups and environmental workshops.

For those looking to begin a professional diving career, Atmosphere will host its final two PADI Instructor Development Courses of 2026, beginning on 7 September and 17 November.

The resort has also showcased the work of underwater photographer David Haas as its Photographer of the Month. Haas visited Atmosphere in June with the Seasick Productions group, capturing a collection of underwater images during favourable diving conditions, including a series featuring octopus and cuttlefish.

Away from diving, Atmosphere’s Gives Forward community programme continues to support local initiatives. During July, employees from technology company Cognizant in nearby Dumaguete volunteered at the Atmosphere Soup Kitchen, helping distribute donations including snack packs, toothbrushes, toothpaste and vitamins to 85 children following one of the resort’s regular beach clean-up events.
