Tobago Tourism Agency Limited Welcomes Introduction of Online Arrival and Departure Card Platform

tobago

Travelling to and from Tobago is set to become more convenient with the introduction of the country’s new Online Arrival and Departure Card (ADC) Platform — a development welcomed by the Tobago Tourism Agency Limited (TTAL).

Launched by the Ministry of Homeland Security on Wednesday 11 March 2026, the digital platform marks an important step in improving the travel experience for visitors and returning nationals.

By allowing travelers to complete their immigration documentation online ahead of time, the system is designed to streamline entry and departure procedures and create a more efficient, seamless process for passengers travelling to and from Trinidad and Tobago.

The platform will be fully implemented on March 17, 2026, after which the paper-based system will be discontinued.

Travelers will be able to access and complete the online form beginning March 14, 2026 at www.travel.gov.tt.

Completing the Form Before Travel

Submission of the online form will be required for all passengers arriving in or departing from Trinidad and Tobago by air or sea.

Passengers will be able to submit the online Arrival and Departure Card and upload the biodata page of their passport up to seventy-two (72) hours prior to travel.

Once submitted, travelers will receive a digital receipt with a QR code, which must be presented to immigration officials on arrival or departure.

With the introduction of the platform, travelers will be required to create an online account to complete their AD Card.

Users will also be required to upload the biodata page of their passport.

Support Systems for Travelers

The platform will be accessible in multiple languages.

To support travelers who may encounter challenges using the platform, assistance will be available at the ANR Robinson International Airport in Tobago, the Piarco International Airport in Trinidad, and through airlines.

Upon arrival, passengers may present the digital receipt on a mobile phone or other electronic device, or provide a printed copy to immigration officers.

Improving the Visitor Experience

The new platform represents a meaningful enhancement to the overall visitor journey, reducing manual paperwork while improving efficiency at ports of entry.

TTAL encourages travelers and tourism stakeholders to familiarise themselves with the system ahead of their journey to ensure a smooth transition before the March 17 implementation date.

As Tobago continues to welcome visitors from around the world, TTAL remains committed to supporting initiatives that enhance the travel experience.

Improvements such as the online ADC platform help ensure that the journey to the island is as seamless as the experience that awaits.

From breathtaking natural landscapes and extraordinary coastlines to vibrant culture and warm island hospitality, Tobago offers travelers an authentic Caribbean escape that is truly beyond ordinary.
