Dive Computer Review: Suunto D5 (Watch Video)

Following our trip to Nemo 33 for the launch of the Suunto D5, we were lucky enough to take one of the pre-production units with us to the Philippines to try while we were staying at Magic Oceans in Bohol.

This gave us a great opportunity to put the new kid on the block up against our existing dive computers, and to see how much of a difference the new FUSED 2 RGBM model was against the original version on our EON Steel.

We had a number of different strap options with us to try out, and absolutely love the colours they come in!

With the Suunto D5 now on general sale, we expect this latest model from Suunto to be an absolute winner, and wouldn’t be surprised to see it on the arm of most divers by the summer!

The Suunto D5 comes in 4 main options:

Black Body/Black Strap
Black Body/Lime Strap
White Body/White Strap
White Body/Black Strap

The white options have the silver bezel on the face.
