INON release new underwater tripod system

INON has introduced a new modular underwater tripod system likely to find appeal with creative stills photographers and advanced and professional videographers. For stills photographers, the tripod allows for rock solid long exposures to be made or for the camera to be panned smoothly for creative blurring. For stills and videography, the tripod allows for easier photography of very small subjects when camera stability is essential and pre or manual critical focusing may be nearly impossible with a hand-held system. The tripod can also be placed in situ while the diver backs away from shy animals or left to record time-lapse sequences.

The INON Tripod uses a hub to which INON fixed length Stick or adjustable length Carbon Fibre Telescopic arms can be directly attached. Further arms can be attached to these using clamps, increasing the flexibility to change the length of the arms or create booms for adding lighting arrays. Equipment can be attached directly to the ¼ inch tripod fitting and the centre column can be inverted for low angle shooting.  A choice of ball and socket heads allows for more flexible positioning of cameras, strobes and lights. A three-way pan and tilt head with control handle for smooth movements is also available
