Turquoise Bay Resort and Subway Watersports in Roatan, Honduras have announced the appointment of Phillip Hetherington as their new PADI Course Director.

Turquoise Bay ResortWith his background as the owner and operator of a successful PADI 5 Star IDC Facility in Texas and over 20 years experience in training SCUBA divers, Phillip brings a wealth of experience to his new position.

Subway Watersports already enjoys a fantastic reputation as a go-to destination for its successful Divemaster Internship programs, and with Phillip’s appointment they’re placing a renewed focus on the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC).

The IDC will focus on exceptional training at Subway’s world class facility, job placement assistance, and a new “Go Pro Green” initiative. With this new focus, Subway Watersports establishes itself as a go-to destination in the Caribbean for candidates of all levels interested in PADI Professional development.

With one remaining PADI IDC/MSDT program scheduled for this November, Subway Watersports and Phillip are planning a busy 2017 schedule with programs already scheduled for February, April, June, July, August, October and December.
