South Jersey Scuba Announces Upcoming Classes and 2026 Jersey and New Jersey Dives
South Jersey Scuba has a selection of upcoming training courses and diving opportunities for 2026, ranging from professional-level training to New Jersey wreck diving and introductory Jersey trips.
SDI Assistant Instructor
The SDI Assistant Instructor Course is designed to build on the SDI Divemaster Program by gaining practical teaching experience, learning to prepare lesson plans and giving academic presentations.
2026 New to Jersey Diving: Dina Dee
Interested in diving Jersey? South Jersey Scuba is offering trips onboard the Dina Dee II, aimed at divers who want to dive Jersey but don’t know where to start.
The trips are tailored specifically for newer Jersey divers, with experienced dive professionals onboard to provide guidance throughout the dive day.
2026 NJ Wreck Dives: Gypsy Blood Long Range Resor
South Jersey Scuba is offering long-range wreck diving trips aboard the Gypsy Blood. With average visibility between 20-30 feet, the dives offer the chance to explore New Jersey’s underwater sites, with opportunities for lobstering, fishing and hunting artifacts.
Advanced certification or equivalent is required, enriched air is highly recommended and rental equipment is not included.
The 2026 Long Range Resor trips are scheduled for August 23 and November 11, with the trips travelling more than 20 miles from Point Pleasant. Sites are subject to change.
SDI Open Water Confined Class (Step 1+2) – Private
This course allows divers to complete the first two parts of their SDI Open Water Scuba Diver training.
The programme includes eLearning, classroom orientation, pool training and a post-pool debrief. Once these stages are completed, students can undertake their final open water certification dives.
