Shark Angels Announce ‘Celebrating Sharks’ Calendar for 2015
Shark Angels, a US based non profit charity dedicated to the protection of sharks, have announced a new ‘Celebrating Sharks’ calender for 2015.
The calender features:
- An interesting shark fact on each month
- Large boxes to record dates and special events
- Ocean related holidays
- Week begins on Monday
- 11 x 17 inches, wiro bound, with hole punch to hang easily on wall
Proceeds from the calenders will go towards funding innovative education, media and advocacy programs that Shark Angels run to protect sharks, the ocean’s apex species.
With up to 73,000,000 sharks killed a year, shark populations are down over 90% and many species could go extinct during our lifetimes. Shark Angels believe that grassroots outreach, viral media, and creative campaigns often aimed at teaching and inspiring youth will create a global, positive movement to save sharks – and the oceans.
