Scubapro recall a batch of Aladin Square dive computers

Aladin Square

Johnson Outdoors Diving, the company that owns Scubapro, announced a recall on Friday of 204 Aladin Square dive computers which fail to meet the Company’s high-quality standards, potentially posing a risk of decompression sickness.

Consumers with Aladin Square computers with serial numbers ending in 003 should stop using the product immediately and return it to their authorized Scubapro dealer for a free replacement.

The serial number is stamped in white on the back of the computer, and printed on labels affixed to the back and side of the product package. This recall is isolated only to Aladin Square computers with serial numbers ending in 003, which were sold from March 2014 thru June 2014.

The Company has received a short number of reports of product failures. There have been no reports of accidents or injuries.
