Message from the Egyptian State Tourist Office

Egypt is to suspend all international flights to and from all the Egyptian airports from 19th until and including 31st March in an attempt to stop the spread of the coronavirus, as announced today by Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly.

“The decisions taken by the government to fight the virus has economic repercussions, but the state’s priority is to protect citizens,” said Prime Minister Madbouly at a press conference in Cairo.

He also added that all hotels and tourist attractions will be extensively cleaned and sterilised by the end of the month.
