The Sony FX3 Full-frame Cinema Line Camera brings the incredible image quality of the A7S III sensor to a compact form-factor body that’s been optimized for video. The FX3 touts incredible autofocus capability, can capture 4K 10-bit 4:2:2 at up to 120fps and features video-optimized controls for iris, shutter angle and ISO as well as a zoom lever for compatible lenses. The FX3 can also output 4K60p RAW video over HDMI 2.0 to compatible recorders, has a maximum ISO of 409,600 and features improved noise reduction at higher ISO values, essential for those looking to film in low light situations or when using color-correction filters.

The Nauticam FX3 will bring the collective experience gained from producing professional aluminum housings for cinema cameras as well as the Sony Alpha mirrorless lineup to produce the most intuitive and reliable housing available for the FX3. Take full advantage of the FX3 by combining it with Nauticam’s lineup of Premium Professional Optics and accessories such as external Monitor/Recorder housings.

Nick and Caroline Robertson-Brown

Nick and Caroline (Frogfish Photography) are a married couple of conservation driven underwater photo-journalists and authors. Both have honours degrees from Manchester University, in Environmental Biology and Biology respectively, with Nick being a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society, a former high school science teacher with a DipEd in Teaching Studies. Caroline has an MSc in Animal Behaviour specializing in Caribbean Ecology. They are multiple award-winning photographers and along with 4 published books, feature regularly in the diving, wildlife and international press They are the Underwater Photography and Deputy Editors at Scubaverse and Dive Travel Adventures. Winners of the Caribbean Tourism Organization Photo-journalist of the Year for a feature on Shark Diving in The Bahamas, and they have been placed in every year they have entered. Nick and Caroline regularly use their free time to visit schools, both in the UK and on their travels, to discuss the important issues of marine conservation, sharks and plastic pollution.
