BSAC welcomes its new Vice Chair

BSAC has welcomed their new Vice Chair, Maria Harwood, following the results of the 2017 Council Election.

A former North West Regional Coach, Maria officially took up her new role following the 63rd BSAC Annual General Meeting held on Sunday, 21st May (adjourned from Saturday, 20th May) at BSAC HQ, Ellesmere Port.

Three Council members, Geoff Hide (re-elected), Dave Bell and Adrian Collier have also joined her on the team.

BSAC would like to congratulate the four elected candidates and also thank all the candidates who stood in this year’s election. Thanks also go to outgoing Council member Ben Panter for his hard work and commitment during his nine years on BSAC Council, to Andrew Shipley for his year of service and to BSAC International’s Deric Ellerby, who was presented with an Honorary Life Membership for his service to BSAC.

The results of the Special Resolution voting were also announced at the 2017 AGM, as follows:

  • For:            1,949 (93.7%)
  • Against:      131 (6.3%)

Special Resolution passed.
