BSAC issues guidance on boat towing and the law
The British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) has compiled a guide to boat towing which has been designed to update clubs as to the latest legal requirements in the UK for towing their branch RIB.

With changes over the past few years to driving licence entitlements, the guide aims to clearly outline the size and weight of trailers an individual can tow, depending on the category of their licence. It also looks at legal responsibilities and further factors to consider in ensuring a club is safely and legally getting the most out of their club boat.
BSAC strongly recommends every club which owns or plans to tow a RIB in 2015 to read the guide.
