Solitude Lembeh Announces Name Change
Solitude World announces that its North Sulawesi dive resort, previously known as Solitude Lembeh Resort, is now officially named Solitude Lembeh.
The name change follows a recent trademark registration in Indonesia that affects the use of the combination of the words “Lembeh” and “Resort” in the property’s name. Solitude has chosen to respect those trademark rights by removing the word “Resort” from its official property name.
This is a change to the name, not to the nature of the property: Solitude Lembeh remains a dive resort in the Lembeh Strait.
Located along the renowned Lembeh Strait, Solitude Lembeh continues to welcome divers, underwater photographers and ocean enthusiasts seeking encounters with the region’s remarkable marine life.
Known internationally for its muck diving and extraordinary diversity of macro subjects, the Lembeh Strait offers opportunities to observe and photograph some of the ocean’s most fascinating creatures. At Solitude Lembeh, guests can enjoy guided diving, dedicated photography facilities, comfortable accommodation and attentive hospitality.
The name may be shorter, but the experience remains the same. The resort’s team, facilities and commitment to thoughtful service remain unchanged. Existing reservations and guest arrangements are unaffected.
The transition is being reflected across the Solitude World website, guest information materials, digital platforms and resort branding.
Solitude Lembeh remains part of Solitude World’s collection of liveaboards and resorts, connecting guests with rewarding diving experiences across Indonesia, Palau and the Philippines, with the Maldives joining the collection in August 2027.
