Subgear Carbon Mono Fin & Carry Bag
Subgear has been working with Trygons, one of the most successful names in the freediving scene, to develop their new Carbon Mono Fin, which they say has been tested by some of the world’s best freedivers.
Carbon Fibre Technology – Just like Formula 1
Carbon blades provide the best performance in freediving fins. Subgear have used the highest available quality, similar to that used in Formula 1 cars and aircraft. The Mono Fin is a combination of carbon and fiberglass.
Increased Power plus Comfort
The transfer of power from the body to the blade is through a single inelastic band. This band directs the energy to where it is needed and nowhere else. The feet are comfortable in the incredibly soft rubber foot pockets and the hydrodynamic shape reduces any resistance. Cramps will also be alleviated during long training sessions.
Unique Development Technic
Each component – the foot pocket, the blade and the side rail – are individually designed, so that each integral part offers maximum performance. The result is a push that even the beginner will not fail to notice.
Traditionally, the rigidity of the foot-pocket rail was used to power the blade. These fins were called 100% carbon, where in fact, most of the power and stability originated from the rubber side rail and not the carbon blade. With the Subgear Mono Fin the foot-pocket plays no part in the bending of the blade and the rail piece is only for streamlining the flow – the power is pure carbon. As a direct result, the blade can be thicker and stiffer than before. Subgear say they can now claim that these are the first ever real carbon fibre reinforced fins.
Cleverly Created Mono Fin Bag
As it can be difficult to carry a Mono Fin, Subgear offer a mono fin bag for safe and simple transportation of the Mono Fin. The 100% waterproof and extremely robust tarpaulin protects the fin while the handy carry handle and back strap straps make carrying easy.

The smart 3D cut and the pre-shaped arms and legs not only ensure flexibility and a perfect fit, but also help you slip into the suit with ease. Cuffs on the arms and legs guarantee perfect sealing, which is further enhanced by the flap on the back zipper.
Zippers at the wrists and ankles provide additional comfort and ensure easy donning and doffing. The small neck zipper adds another layer of comfort.
The neoprene ribs in the back of the knees and crook of the arms are unique. The clever concept ensures optimum comfort when bending the arms or legs.
Shoulder and knee protectors protect the suit in high-wear areas. The small computer safety strap holds the device in place. The SP suit series is available for men and women in 5 & 7mm and offers a wide range of sizes including numerous intermediate sizes.
Every day, DYNAMICNORD works to keep its environmental impact as low as possible. Only the best available neoprene is used for the SP series of neoprene suits. It goes without saying that the neoprene is made from limestone. It is sourced from nature and has less negative impact on the environment. Furthermore, Carbon Black, one of the main components of neoprene, is pyrolysed from used tires. This reduces energy consumption and cuts CO₂ emissions by 200 grams per neoprene suit. Innovative dyeing machines reduce water and energy consumption during production by 60%.
