Book your EUROTEK.2014 tickets early; you could win your ticket money back AND get a free dry bag
EUROTEK.2014 tickets are on sale, and if you book before midnight on Thursday 7th August, you will be entered in a free draw to win your ticket money back.
EUROTEK is an international advanced and tech diving event. Do you need to be an ardent techie to attend this? No – just a diver or instructor hungry to know more about diving. Whether you are a budding tekkie, a hard-core explorer or simply interested in spicing-up your diving, EUROTEK is for you.
A team of international experts, luminaries and diving legends are flying in from all over the globe to present at EUROTEK. Over the weekend, 40 different talks will be given on many aspects of advanced and technical diving – there is something for every diver. Your only problem will be choosing who to listen to next.
Associate Professor Simon J Mitchell will be sharing some rather exciting new research; “Oxygen toxicity during long decompression: a tale of two gases” and “The 5 minute prebreathe: sensitive test for CO2 scrubber problems or a waste of time?” This is the first time Dr Mitchell will be discussing these results.
Dedicated troglodytes will be well catered for. There are some superb cave diving talks scheduled from the likes of extreme explorer Jason Mallinson, photographer Liz Rodgers and author Martyn Farr. Topics include exploring the Swedish Bjurälven Valley, the Elk River Cave and the Norwegian Plura Cave.
Rust fiends will also have their appetites stated with stories from the Norwegian Fjords and the Battle of Narvik; awesome 3D footage from North America’s Great Lakes; rarely seen photographs from deep inside top Bikini wrecks; and some beautifully preserved U-Boats sunk deep in the Gulf of Finland.
The specialist exhibition is rapidly filling up; Ambient Pressure Diving, Dive Rite, Fourth Element, Great Lakes Diving Expeditions, IANTD, Kent Tooling Diving Products, Light Monkey, Miflex, Otter, PADI, Shearwater Research, Sea & Sea, Santi, Suex and VMS have all booked their spaces. This is a great opportunity for you to talk directly to the manufacturers, training agencies and destinations, and get your questions answered.
EUROTEK attendees will also leave with something valuable and useful, thanks to Fourth Element. The first 400 divers who buy a weekend ticket walk away with a gorgeous heavy duty limited edition dry bag worth £60. This was specifically designed and manufactured for EUROTEK.2014 by Fourth Element.
So make sure you book your tickets as soon as possible by going to www.eurotek.uk.com/tickets.
